For those looking to experience one last “Huzzah,” all reservation platforms are current and we encourage anyone who has enjoyed our brand of hospitality to venture out and spend a final Holiday with us in our hip and historic B&B time machine. The Beacon House Inn B&B as you have previously experienced it, will be closing in late August 2022 as the property has been sold and will no longer contain a Specialty Inn Bed & Breakfast. That road now traveled with great pride and delight, it is now time to explore new waters. As many do and do not know, we saved and then transformed the Beacon House Inn Bed & Breakfast 10 years ago with the goal to deliver a hip and historic seaside boutique accommodation that includes an elevated culinary B&B experience unique to the industry and to our area. All of these destinations, as well as some wishful and hopeful surprises, are slated to kick off in the Spring/Summer of 2023. our City Flat, as well as retreats in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and beyond). our owner’s quarters, Historic Downtown Wilmington i.e. It is time for that growth to take hold as we introduce the next chapter of what has become for us “The Intersection of Art and Commerce.” Within the coming months, the Beacon House Inn will transform into T-Biscuit Dwellings which will “house” a small line of boutique vacation rentals in desirable travel destinations(Carolina Beach i.e. Hip and Historic Hints from The Beacon: Forward Progress and a Fond Farewell…As owners of the Beacon House Inn, we have always strived to bring creative contemporary ideas to our business while also exploring new ways to personally grow as entrepreneurs. A mere 25-30 minute drive from the beach, our City Flat allows you the opportunity to explore a city that drips with southern charm, has a plethora of craft beer and fine dining, and is home to an array of great art and theater. Want to experience City and Surf? The Beacon House also offers a family / dog friendly “City Flat” located in the center of the historic district in downtown Wilmington.

Cottage rentals are self-catering with full kitchens and equipped for longer stays. Our petite cottages are about a 2-minute walk to the sand and have all of the amenities for a small family looking for a memorable beach vacation. The Beacon House also offers three cozy, family / dog friendly beach vacation cottages that sit behind our B&B. Being able to tantalize the cravings of the most discerning tastes, your time here will leave you with pleasant memories. Wake up to the aromas of our specially tailored artisan breakfast or sip a special blend of our fabulous gourmet coffee while walking on the beach or sitting on the front porch. Retaining that relaxed prime beach vibe of tasteful charm and character, our B&B has all the modern amenities and charisma that you would expect from any boutique hotel or small Inn. Our vintage beach dwelling, originally built in the 1940’s formerly as a boarding house, has rooms that were constructed with warm knotty pine walls that give the house its casual and homey charm. Our six room Bed & Breakfast, mainly an adults vacation haven located across the street from the ocean, is the heart of our operation.
